Life is all about questions for me. It’s always been this way and it seems that as soon as I answer one question another takes its place, which suits me just fine. At the moment, my biggest question is, What do I want to do with my life?

The answer? I’m not exactly sure.

Currently, I’m embarking on an adventure in pursuit of a career in hopes of finding out what I am meant to do with my life. There are so many opportunities in this world that until I’ve explored a great many of them, I won’t truly be able to answer my life’s questions. While I’m pondering the possibilities and mastering the art of writing cover letters, I am also keeping this blog about life through my eyes.

SnapThoughts started out as my creative outlet while teaching English for a year in South Korea. Like my life over the last few months, this space and my posts are constantly changing. Right now most of my work is in the form of daily journal entries about almost anything I encounter in my day to day life. I love to record the world around me, either in words or photographs, to capture the little moments that often go unnoticed. This has been my purpose from the start of SnapThoughts and although the content has changed some, it remains my creative outlet and space to explore.

A bit more about me…

I am a social person who has a tendency towards being a introvert when it comes to big groups of people.

My favorite place in the world is the mountains of Wyoming where I was born and raised.

I have two sisters and two brothers, but am only directly related to one of them. I nevertheless, love them all.

My favorite thing about blogging is the fantastic community I’ve met from around the world. I love reading about people’s lives and hearing their stories.

I caught the wanderlust bug when I was sixteen and have since visited 13 countries and lived in both France and South Korea.

My significant other, A, and I met in Tanzania and hope to one day return to the beautiful country where we fell in love.

Blue is my favorite color.

I am terrified of the show The Walking Dead.

I love sunshine.

Aside from working and keeping a blog, I love to run, hike, read, play with my family’s dogs, bake, travel, spend time with family and go on coffee dates.

If you’re wondering about the old me, you can check out my previous About Page here or explore any of my posts. In the mean time, thank you for stopping by! If you’re up for a lot of random observations, thoughts and photographs, why not come along on my journey through life. I would love to meet you and look forward to following your blog.

Best wishes!

  1. Kiwibee, I didn’t see that you were already a Liebster recipient. Well, I would like to nominate you again. Since you’ve already completed the process once, rather than doing all 11-11-11-11 things, If you would just like to answer the questions I’ve asked, I would consider that sufficient ^_^
(Though, I don’t want to deprive you of repeating any part of the process you enjoyed– don’t feel limited. I just don’t want a second nomination to feel overwhelming ^_^)

My nominee quetsions can be found here:

  3. I am a proponent of Following for Inspiration. I even wrote an article about it. I believe that as a writer I need help at times with visual inspiration.
I have found a new Inspiration to Follow.
    Much Respect
