Daily Journey Journal #130: farewell

For October 4, 2014

We took the train up north to Seoul yesterday and it was the perfect way to say goodbye to South Korea. Watching the lush green hills, fertile fields and craggy mountains blur by, I took in all the greenery, the beauty of the country. Home will seem so brown, so empty in comparison as I’ve become accustomed to the lushness, fullness of Korea. Happily, I will always have the memory of the green country side flying past to remind me of the beauties of the world.

After a night in the airport, we headed out of Korea to Malaysia and landed in gorgeous Kuala Lumpur this afternoon. It is amazing here, full of vibrancy, life and diversity. We are looking forward to our explorations and seeing a new part of the world. Pictures and updates to come.
