Everyday Trifles: Walls

Living in Yeosu, I’ve gotten to see a myriad of awesome walls. Walls may not sound like the most interesting subject, but they tell the story of this city, of its tradition and growth, of the changes and things left behind. I love wandering through the city and seeing them, learning the story of Yeosu’s history through their faces.

    • Thank you!! Shallow DOF is one of my favorite ways to take pictures. I love the way things disappear into the blur and the subtle lines between in-focus and not. It is so different than how we usually see the world and I think it so beautiful and calming.

    • Thank you πŸ™‚ I agree! I especially like when things grow on walls or when there are in varying states of aging. Plus, we so often overlook walls in the day to day life that it is nice to really see them.
