Reminders from a Pencil Box

Reminders from a Pencil Box

Living in Korea, I’ve come to enjoy all of the cute little sayings written all over things in English. Phrases like “Smile” “Be Happy!” “I Love You” “Happy Day” “Enjoy the day” cover everything from pencil cases to notebooks to bags to hair clips to clothing. Yesterday, in one of my classes I glanced over at a student and her pencil case gave me an important reminder.
The small things can so easily go forgotten or unseen. Yet, these things can make any moment memorable, change the course of a day or alter your outlook for the better. Thank you, pencil case, for the encouraging reminder.
